Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Nissan Sentra- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here at etrailer. Today we have a 2018 Nissan Sentra and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 1 1-1/4 hitch receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Sentra is gonna allow you to do a couple of different things. You can use it to haul bike racks, which is what the owner of ours is doing, a small cargo carrier if you need to get some of that luggage out of the back of your car to make more room inside for more weather sensitive items, put 'em on a cargo carrier so you can go on your trip. Or if paired with trailer wiring for your Nissan Sentra, you can pull small trailers with it. The receiver tube opening will be an 1-1/4 wide by an 1-1/4 tall. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Nissan Sentra- Video

Today, on our 2015 Nissan Sentra, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver.Here is what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. Now the cross tube is gonna sit below the bumper but it is going to sit far back enough that it's not gonna be really distracting. Our hitch is gonna give us an inch by an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great for bike racks, some smaller cargo carriers, or some light duty towing.Now the way we're gonna mount any of our accessories, is to the hitch pin hole on the side. Our hitch is gonna accept a standard 1/2 inch pin and clip. Now these are not included with the hitch but you can pick them up here at eTrailer.com.Our safety chain connection point is gonna be loop style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. We're gonna have plenty of room to get most sized hooks on or off.As far as the weight capacity is concerned, our hitch is gonna have a 200 pound tongue weight, along with a 2,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Sentra- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Sentra, we're gonna be installing Draw Tite's 00:00:02 Class One, 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver, part number 24907.And this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. You are gonna be able to see the cross tube and the receiver here, but over all, it's tucked back far enough to where you won't really notice it.It's a Class One, 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for bike racks, cargo carriers, and extremely light towing. It features hoop style safety chain loops and has a nice large opening, so it should accommodate just about any style safety chain.It uses a half inch hitch pinning clip. One of these doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at e-Trailer.com with part number PC2.It features a 200 pound tongue weight. That's the force going down on top of the receiver. And a 2000 pound gross towing capacity. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Nissan Sentra- Video

Today on this 2011 Nissan Sentra we are going to install Draw-Tite Hitch part number 24794. This will also be comparable to Hidden Hitch part number 60871. For the installation of this hitch it will be necessary to remove the spare tire and tools which we have already done along with any contents in the trunk. Our first step will be to take our bolt leader and our block and bolt and put them in our forward fastener. We will go ahead and slide our block in first, and then our bolt, and then pull them into position. Im going to go ahead and leave my bolt leader on as it will assist me in installing the hitch without loosing my hardwear back up into the frame. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video

Today on this 2008 Nissan Sentra we will be installing the Draw-Tite hitch part number 24794 and this installation will also apply to the Hidden Hitch part number 60871. The first thing we need to do before we get started is remove the spare tire from the spare tire well inside the trunk and we also need to remove the jack from the jack tie down bracket at the backside of the spare tire well. Our hitch installation is going to start in the trunk well. What we are going to do is take the reinforcing bracket that comes with the trailer hitch and get it lined up so that we can draw our holes and you will notice at the bottom of the spare tire well we have got three ribs. What we want to do is take the reinforcing bracket and lay it up against the back side of the spare tire well and align the edges of the bracket with the rear hedges of the ribs. 00:40 more
